PROGRAM LEVEL

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Applied Linguistics is aligned with Level 10 of the Bahrain National Qualifications Framework. As the highest tier of academic attainment, this level is defined by the independent and systematic generation of new knowledge through original research. Candidates are required to demonstrate advanced theoretical insight and methodological rigour, engaging with complex problems in a manner that extends the established boundaries of the discipline.
