Biography


Ms. Dalal Al-Sindi is a Clinical Art Psychotherapist and Lecturer at the University of Bahrain. She is recognized as the pioneer of professional art therapy in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is committed to bridging clinical practice with academia. With over ten years of professional experience, she has worked with diverse populations including stroke patients, traumatic brain injury patients, individuals experiencing depression, trauma, learning difficulties, and chronic illnesses. She has designed and delivered numerous specialized workshops and training programs for leading organizations, including the Ministry of Education in Bahrain, the Royal College of Surgeons Bahrain, The British University, Bahrain, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, the British Council, University College London (UCL) in Qatar, and Expo 2020 Dubai. She also served as a keynote speaker at the Global Women’s Forum 2020 in Dubai. Her current academic focus is on empowering university students, particularly the hearing-impaired, through creative educational approaches and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies.
