  • PhD degree with first class honors in Archaeology from Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University in 2013.
  • Master degree with honors in Archaeology from Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University in 2003.
  • PG Diploma in Archaeology from Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University in 1995.
  • Bachelor degree in Archaeology from Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University in 1992.

Biography


  • Published papers in academic journals ; Researches on ancient Egypt, the Arabian Gulf, the Arabian Peninsula and their relations with Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt during ancient times.
  • Participated in Archaeology works “Excavations “in Egypt, Egyptian Archaeology Authority.
  • Peer-reviewed papers for archaeological Journals.
  • Participated in exhibitions about the history and archaeology.
  • Contributed to the development and improvement of the history program in Social Sciences Department, Collage of Arts, and University of Bahrain.
  • several visits to Berlin museums, the Institute of Ancient Near Eastern Studies in Germany, the Archaeological Museums in the Kingdom of Bahrain, King Saud; University, Jordan, and the museums of Kuwait, Sharjah, Dubai and Al Ain.
  • Participate in professional development activities and scientific seminars inside and outside the University of Bahrain.
  • Membership of professional and academic associations: Member of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists. Arbitration: Arbitrator at Sharjah Journal of Humanities. Arbitrator in the Journal of the Bahrain History and Archaeology Society Arbitrator in the Journal of Humanities, College of Arts, University of Bahrain.

Achievements


Obtain the award for the best scientific work at the level of Arab world given by the General Union of Arab Archaeologists in 2014 for a scientific work tackling the relationship of the Arabian Peninsula to the Arab world in ancient times from 3rd millennium BC until the end of 1st millennium BC.
