• Master’s degree in Interpretation (Tafsir) and Quranic Sciences, with a grade of Excellent, Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan (1987).
• PhD in Interpretation (Tafsir) and Quranic Sciences, with a grade of Excellent, Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan (1992).
• Ijazah (Sanad) to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) in the recitation and teaching of the Holy Quran, according to the narrations of Hafs from Asim and Warsh from Nafi', Egypt.

Biography

• Professor and Head of the Islamic Studies and Quranic Sciences departments at Ibb University, Yemen, for three years (1995–1998).
• Professor of Interpretation (Tafsir) and Quranic Sciences at the University of Bahrain from 2000 to the present.
• Selected as a Peer Reviewer for the University of Sharjah Journal for Sharia Sciences and Islamic Studies since 2020.
• Peer Reviewer for Al-Hidayah Journal (2021).
