FACULTY BIO

Dr. Omar M. Alqadoumi is currently an assistant professor at the Department of English Language and Literature, College of Arts, in the University of Bahrain. He obtained his PhD in Composition and TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2012, and his MA in TESOL from Murray State University in 2006. He also became a fellow of the Higher Education Academy after successfully completing the Post Graduate Certificate for Academic Practice in 2012. Dr. Alqadoumi’s research interests are in the areas of second language writing, computer-assisted language learning, and psycholinguistics. Dr. Alqadoumi has taught numerous composition and ESP courses to native and non-native speakers of English in the US and Bahrain at the undergraduate level.
