FACULTY BIO

Dr. Ghada Ahmed: Chairperson of English Language and Literature Department and an assistant professor of Linguistics. She received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Lancaster University – United Kingdom. She has been teaching courses in Linguistics, applied linguistics and modern Linguistics. In addition, she has been teaching English for Specific Purpose – particularly English for Law and English for Business. Dr. Ghada reviewed papers for several International journals and forums. She also participated in many International conferences both as a presenter and as a panelist. She has been involved in many committees at the departmental level as well as the university level. Dr. Ghada has received several awards throughout her educational journey.
