Biography

Assistant Professor of Graphic Design with 19+ years of experience in higher education and international academic environments. Holds a PhD in Fine Arts (Animation & Book Arts). Experienced in teaching, programme leadership, quality assurance, academic research, and industry collaboration. Proven ability to teach diverse student cohorts and contribute to institutional development.

Currently serving as Assistant Professor and Programme Leader of Graphic Design at the British University of Bahrain, leading curriculum development, ensuring academic quality standards in collaboration with the University of Salford (UK), mentoring academic staff, and supporting student success. Holds a strong research profile with peer‑reviewed publications focusing on artificial intelligence in education, digital transformation, and visual culture. Leadership experience includes 14 years as Head of Art & Music within the IB curriculum, coordinating exhibitions and interdisciplinary projects. Actively contributes to academic committees, international exhibitions, and holds certifications in quality assurance and responsible AI.
