Biography


Dr. Eman Ebrahim Al Doseri has been teaching English for more than twenty nine years. Before joining Bahrain University in 1997 she spent eight years working as an English teacher/senior teacher at the Ministry of Education. She holds an MA in English language teaching from Essex University (UK), MA in Literature and Visual Arts from Reading University (UK), and Doctorate in TESOL from Exeter University (UK). Her current research interests include 19 century British and American literature, arts, and culture. She is especially interested in the Aesthetic Movement and the Pre-Raphaelite arts and literature. She is also interested in the use of ICT in teaching English language and teaching English for young learners.
