FACULTY BIO

Dr. Hanafi is an Assistant Professor of American Studies. He has a PhD (2010), MA (2003), and BA (2000) in English Language and Literature from the University of Manouba, Tunisia. His main area of expertise is American Studies with a major focus on US race relations, African American studies, White studies, American environmental studies, and space and race. So far he has published five articles in high-ranking, indexed journals and is completing his book on ""Spa-tial Formation in the United States.
